Who is Your Shepherd?

Are your wills submitted to His wills? Your desires, His desires? You, Him? Upon what path are you being led? And to where does it lead? And for the sake of who?

Yes, these are questions we must ask ourselves, now and forever. They beg answers. They concern themselves with the truth. They are ancient questions passed from one generation to the another and another. It is astonishing and terribly frightening to know and understand that a people, impossible to number, who lived and died since the beginning of time to this day has had to bear the same questions, and upon it’s revelation, has made their choice and is right now even living it.

Yes, these are questions of life and life eternal. They are questions that beg you an answer.

Don’t need a Shepherd?

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way…”

“… I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.”

Need a Shepherd?

The Lord is mine. The Lord God Almighty, King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus the Christ. And He is leading me to lie down in green pastures and beside still waters. He restores my very soul, and leads me into the path of righteousness…for His name’s sake. Even as a little sheep walking in a valley of death, I will continue to walk, fearing the evil not. But why? Because He is with me! His Spirit is with me, before me and has set Himself behind me. Therefore shall I fear? Around my enemies does He make a place foe me to dwell and eat and drink, and my soul is like a well-watered garden. My head He anoints with His oil and pours out of His abundance that I might be overflowing. Glory. I am certain that His goodness and His great mercies will continue to follow me all the days appointed to me by Him in the land of the living and even unto life everlasting. Hallelujah! And there will I, even I, shall be forever dwelling in the temple of my Lord. Forever.
