I lay down

This day I offer unto Jesus.
I offer me. All that I am. All that I have. Before Him I offer my prayers and my praise. He is worthy of them both. Which other should be glorified? Which other must I trust in? Whom shall I hope in but the Lord God on high who has delivered me and has given me great hope and a future. Who but the Son of God, King Jesus sits on the throne? None. No there is not one. He alone is worthy. Worthy of all our praise. He keeps His promises; I call Him faithful.

There once was a time I’d bow my knees in my offerings of prayers, supplications and thanksgivings, but truly, though my knees were bent my heart stood, leaning on my own understanding.

Today, unapologetically I proclaim, my heart bows long before my knees ever touch the ground. To Jesus be the glory.

Forever my King your word is settled in heaven.

“Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a foundation of waters.”
PSALM 114:7&8

“Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.”
PSALM 111:1
